The TEKTELIC KONA Enterprise Gen 2 (MOEN2TLEU868) is a fully integrated outdoor LoRaWAN gateway with built-in 4G LTE backhaul, designed for enterprise deployments where carrier-grade reliability and resilient connectivity matter. This EU868 LTE variant is built around the Semtech SX1303 base-band processor delivering 8 Rx / 1 Tx time-duplex operation, 27 dBm Tx power, and −141 dBm receive sensitivity for wide-area coverage of up to 500 km². An integrated dual-SIM 4G LTE modem provides cellular backhaul as primary connection or as automatic failover when Ethernet is unavailable. The compact 1.16 kg IP67 enclosure houses internal LoRaWAN, cellular and GPS antennas, with optional N-Type external antennas for extended-range deployments. Built-in lightning protection on Ethernet and LoRa RF ports, combined with −40 to +60 °C operating range, makes it suitable for harsh outdoor installations including pole, wall, tower building, or DIN rail mounting. Powered exclusively via PoE (IEEE 802.3af or passive 37–57 VDC) at just 2.5 W typical consumption.
