PHW095EU868
The TEKTELIC KONA Photon Gen 2 (PHW095EU868) is a fully solar-powered outdoor LoRaWAN gateway designed for off-grid deployments where mains power and Ethernet are unavailable — agricultural fields, remote infrastructure, parking lots, or any site where running cables is impractical or expensive. This 95 W EU868 TDD variant pairs a high-output monocrystalline solar panel with a 220 Wh LiFePO4 battery and 100 W MPPT charge controller for autonomous operation across higher latitudes or sites with reduced sun exposure, while a built-in 3G/4G Cat6 modem with dual-SIM support handles cellular backhaul. The radio module supports 8 Rx / 1 Tx channels at 27 dBm Tx power and −141 dBm Rx sensitivity, with class A/B/C device support and integrated multi-GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS) for time synchronization. Built around an IP67 enclosure with 10 kA surge protection on the LoRa antenna port, it operates from −30 to +45 °C with adjustable panel tilt (10–90°) for optimal solar capture. Pole or wall mounting, with the option to add a second solar panel via the P2 port for sites with extreme winter shading.
Note: Other regional channel plans (US915, AU915) and the 50 W solar panel variant (PHW050EU868) are available on request — please contact us for a quote.
Note: The integrated dual-SIM 4G LTE modem requires a 4FF nano-SIM with active data subscription — not included.
Note: A LoRa antenna with N-Type male connector and RF cable are required for operation and are sold separately. Recommended gain: 3, 6 or 8 dBi.
Note: Professional installation by trained RF technicians is required. Total system weight ~21 kg may require two people for mounting.
