The TEKTELIC FINCH (SENFNHEU868) is a compact, mobile, wireless LoRaWAN and BLE indoor panic button designed for personal safety in hotels, retail, warehouses, hospitals, senior care facilities, and educational institutions. When triggered, FINCH instantly sends an SOS message with location details to designated support staff or security personnel for rapid emergency response. The device combines the long-range, low-power capabilities of LoRaWAN with the reliability of Bluetooth Low Energy to provide real-time location information — including indoor positioning when paired with BLE beacons. The dual-mode BLE operation enables Tracker mode (scanning nearby devices) and Beacon mode (broadcasting presence). The easy-access SOS button is wearable on a belt or lanyard, providing a quicker response than smartphone-based emergency apps. Compact 70 × 22 × 25 mm form factor with 5+ years of battery life on a single AA LTC battery. Operating range −20 to +85 °C. Integrates with the TEKTELIC LOCUS application for visualization with geofencing, entrance/exit notifications and alarms.
