MEDBGEU868
The TEKTELIC EDOCTOR (MEDGBEU868) is a wearable LoRaWAN chest band IoT device providing comprehensive respiratory health and vital signs monitoring for hospital patients, senior care residents, and individuals at risk of respiratory illness. The lightweight, low-power device measures skin temperature, heart rate, respiration (breathing) rate, chest expansion, body position, and physical activity level, with self-calibration of chest expansion for accuracy. An integrated panic/push button enables patient-initiated alerts. The adjustable, washable fabric strap ensures comfortable, discreet wear in any activity including sleep. By default the device reports every 5 minutes, automatically increasing to once per minute when respiratory distress is detected. The 3–4 month battery life eliminates the need for daily charging and avoids reliance on smartphones or Wi-Fi networks. LoRaWAN connectivity provides reliable always-on coverage with a typical range of 750 m and through 3–4 floors of indoor gateway penetration. Integrated with TEKTELIC's eDoctor mobile and desktop applications for 24/7 remote monitoring, with SMS/email alerts for caregivers when vital signs require intervention.
