The TEKTELIC CHICKADEE with RFID (CHSENTEU868) is the RFID-enabled variant of the CHICKADEE wearable badge tracker, combining personnel tracking with access control in a single wearable device. The integrated RFID tag enables door access, time clocking, and check-in/check-out applications while LoRaWAN provides continuous location reporting throughout the facility. Powered by the Semtech LoRa Edge™ transceiver with triple positioning — GPS for outdoor, Bluetooth Low Energy for indoor beacon-based localization, and Wi-Fi sniffing for AP-based indoor positioning. The compact badge form factor wears on a lanyard, belt clip, or pocket and includes an easy-access SOS button for lone-worker safety. An onboard accelerometer enables context-aware reporting. The Li-Po rechargeable battery delivers 6+ months of operation per charge via USB-C connector. Optional 12 V external power support for permanent installations. Optimized for hospitals, manufacturing facilities, secure offices, and any environment requiring combined personnel tracking and access control.
